Seeking fashion advice for attending an outdoor wedding this weekend. I'm 48, male, and the temp is to be 74.?

I recently lost weight and my suits don't fit well. I see several options 1) buy a new outfit (suit or other?). 2) I have a raw silk cream jacket that now fits very well. Is this still fashionable? If so, what color pants, shirt would you recommend? 3) I have a nice pair of cream linen pants. Is a blue blazer with those too casual? What about the silk jacket? too close in color? Just go to Macy's or something and buy Dockers black or tan pants, dress shoes and a polo or casual shirt.Try a color that matches your eyes/skin---plus since it's summer you'll want a light color like green,blue,--whatever matches your color and what colors you wear normally.

I'd go with light cream slacks, white shirt (sleeves rolled-up), brown belt, brown shoes. I'd nix the jacket, it's gonna be too warm. As a guest you should be classy, yet comfortable.
For a wedding, usually ';standing out'; is a bad thing because all attention should go to the bride and groom, therefore a classic formal look will be fine.





I would stick with black and white, the most classy and classic combinations for formal events (even during the spring/summer). Blue is too formal because men throw on blue blazers whenever they feel like it...





with that said, black linen pants, nice fitting white buttoned up shirt, black tie, slim fit black blazer, and maybe a vest? Every man looks good in a black and white suit.
