I just passed my audition to be a blackjack dealer with just a few weeks more to practice. Any advice-scared?

Just relax, and be yourself. You'll be fine.I just passed my audition to be a blackjack dealer with just a few weeks more to practice. Any advice-scared?
I don't have any better advice than what everyone else told you but I wanted to know what did they ask you in the audition to do? I will be going out in a week to get a job as a blackjack dealer. Did they have you pitch single then double? Did they just have you deal from the shoe then have you pay out blackjacks? Also where did you audition I am in Biloxi.I just passed my audition to be a blackjack dealer with just a few weeks more to practice. Any advice-scared?
Usually players like new blackjack dealers because they bust a lot, giving more wins to the players so you should be well liked. Just remember one thing, you are not forcing anyone to gamble their money. So if you have a player being overly rude to you or cursing you at all, get you Pit Boss immediately. This job can be hard enough without having to deal with a real jerk at your table. Just relax and remember what you've been taught and you'll do fine.
Relax take it easy (as the song goes), don't try to go to fast, it's better to be accurate. Remember that a BJ game gives gives you more of an opportunity to interact with the customers and build a rapport. Again relax everyone had to learn at some stage.

  • I will be getting a settlement soon and need advice on how to invest some of it...Any suggestions?

Investment advice - done properly - is more than just letting you know what a good investment is. I (or any other adviser) would need to know more about you and what it is you are trying to do. It's like asking a travel agent for a great holiday without giving them more info - for example: Great holiday - scuba diving in the great barrier reef in Australia - but the traveler is scared of the water OR XYZ is a great investment - has a 10yr+ hold time - but investor needs the money earlier for - new car, house, education, emergency, etc. etc.

A good investment is the one the makes sense for you at this time in your life and accommodates any (or most possible) scenarios - just like any other choice one makes - what is good for the Jones' isn't always the best thing for you. Best Car - Honda Civic? - well not if you have 5 children and live in the snow belt!

Good luckI will be getting a settlement soon and need advice on how to invest some of it...Any suggestions?
You should pay off any credit cards you have. And if you have any left over, you should save it in a CD for rainy days. It is recommended that you save 3 months of your salary for emergency.I will be getting a settlement soon and need advice on how to invest some of it...Any suggestions?

Infidelity--has it happened again? Never able to prove before and won't be able to now--seeking advice?

My spouse has cheated on me before about 20 years ago. only found out by his own admission much much later. I was never able to prove it just had that jello-like feeling inside.

Fast forward. recently he went on an overseas business trip and is back now. I have that feeling again and he didn't hug me at the airport or look into my eyes. He is a shrewd man--always has been. I can't prove it %26amp; it's painful and frustrating. Anyone in the same position? or have resolved their own situation?Infidelity--has it happened again? Never able to prove before and won't be able to now--seeking advice?
It doesn't matter what others are feeling. This should be about you.

Look, you don't trust him. You have already PAID 20 years of your life living with, sleeping with, eating with a man you totally don't trust. (Jello like feeling inside? How horrible it must be...)

Believe me, I KNOW what it's like to be alone and to feel lonliness... but wouldn't it be better to be alone or lonely, then to be with someone who makes you want to vomit constantly because you just can't trust them?

Please, get out of this situation. You still have time to end up with someone who actually appreciates you... Infidelity--has it happened again? Never able to prove before and won't be able to now--seeking advice?
Well, I think you need to talk with your husband and let him know your feelings about the situation and let him know how your heart is. Communication is key to any relationship and you should be able to just talk with your husband okay? Just talk with him and let him know, if he freaks out than yes he cheated if he is willing to talk about it than give him the benefit of the doubt. But, either way you need to get it out there in the open.
i once had that same feeling of doom, didn't know why i was feeling so badly. he also ignored me and began to disconnect. i did not listen to my intuition, made excuses but found out later on the woman had been in my home when i was on vacation, found out he had been seeing her for awhile right under my nose.a few months later he left, asking for a divorce, if it feels the same as it felt to u before then kit probably is this. intuition never lies. he can't look at u, and my ex could not look at me because of the guilt he is feeling.
if this person keeps making you miserable you shouldnt be with him... you deserve to be happy... and strong all by yourself... if he broke your trust before and you feel iffy about him from time to time... you shouldnt be with him...he is keeping you for something...but not because he loves you if he would do that to you again...
Once a cheater, always a cheater. Your gut feeling is right- DON'T doubt it- take it from one who knows. Confront the situation and / or get out. Don't wait for him to give you an STD or break your heart again.
Go with your gut,it is never wrong. If you feel that it has happened again hire a private investigator, they'll catch the sneaky bastard, sorry!
Being shrewd is his cover, and he wears it well. Trust your intuition sweetie, hire a private investigator.
Go with your intuition. Never underestimate it.

In college, I wan to major in Psychology, and to get my Master's in it. Any advice would be good. Thanks!?

If you don't like doing research experiments, you won't enjoy getting a graduate degree in psychology. If you find it interesting and exciting though, you'll love it!

If you want to get into a graduate program for psychology, try to do a little outside research. PhD programs are harder than Masters, so maybe taking an extra experimental course will be okay. Make friends with a psychology professor who has a research team and ask to be on it. You can get class credit for helping him/her on their projects and it's one of the biggest things graduate schools look for.

They also look for good grades and good GRE scores. Some graduate programs only require you to take the normal GRE and some also require the psychology subject GRE. Do a little research for the graduate school you'd like to go to.

If you have the grades, experience, and GRE scores, consider applying to get your PhD. You'll end up paying less money (because you'll get grants from the college and will be able to teach after you get your Master's) and more jobs will open up to you. You can also get a PsyD, a less popular but still recognized doctorate degree. There's less schools that offer PsyD's and you'll end up paying more, but if research isn't your thing, PsyD is your program. It's more clinical based than research based.

Good luck! I hope that helped.

Need some advice about a nose ring and please be serious!?

I would love to get a nose ring but I'm scared to death!! Is it better to get a stud when you get it pierced instead of a screw? I just need a little advice from someone who's been there and done this. thanks

Need some advice about a nose ring and please be serious!?
My aunt had it done and she said it hurt. She ended up taking it out. She's totally scared of pain though. She has no tolerance at all for pain.

Then, my Bestfriend got it done, and she loves it. She said it didn't hurt one bit.

I guess it matters if you can take the pain of a little bit of a sting.

They both got studs when they got it done. That way it's easier to clean. Twisting the study instead of pulling the hoop.

Hope this helps! Good Luck! Need some advice about a nose ring and please be serious!?
I had a ring put in mine after they pierced it. To me, it heals better because it allows you to move the ring through the piercing as it heals, thus avoiding any scar tissue from building up around the inside. I have had mine for nearly ten years and have never had any problems from it. I cant stand the ';screw'; ends because they always tend to turn upside down and the end usually ends up sticking out of your nose like a little silver booger...

Get a stud for sure because they won't snag as easy.

The piercing takes no more than like a millisecond. The pain is no more than a second, just because it's going through cartilage, but it's totally tolerable.
dont be scared. i want one too, but my mom is still 'thinking' about it. just watch some people on you tube getting their nose pierced, thats what i did to get over my fear.
it doesnt hurt at all..u only feel it when the needle goes through your cartalidge. its beter to get a stud, screws are more complicated and studs are easier to put in and out.
my friend got one, said it didnt really hurt, but i think it might

  • Any advice on how to be a GREAT tennis player in my high school team!?

I want to try out for tennis and i want to make it. I love the sport, but there isn't any tennis courts that i could practice on to improve my skills. I played it once and i did OK. Maybe you could give me some techniques, books to read on how to be GREAT at it, tricks, etc.Any advice on how to be a GREAT tennis player in my high school team!?
I'm glad you take such an interest in the great sport of tennis. I am ranked number one on my high school varsity tennis team and trust me, I did not get there without any practice. You just have to practice. Simple as that. Take lessons and play matches with other people. First, learn to keep the ball in play for a long time. After you can do this, then start hitting harder and develop a serve. After this, you can start adding things to your game such as volley, slices, etc. The best advice I can give you though, is don't get discouraged because it is not something that happens over night. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, and PRACTICE and you will improve!

Hope this helped :)Any advice on how to be a GREAT tennis player in my high school team!?
Find an old brick church building. Take a few balls with you and keep hitting the wall over and over again. You will learn through quick repetition and quick reactions how to be consistent and hit the ball straight ahead. This is what I did to make the high school team and I never played before!

ok well go to www.tennis.com then go under the instruction section, that has a lot to help, but i think there more advanced. So maybe try tennis.about.com First.

Search how to hit a topspin forehand on google or youtube. Then follow that and practice the stroke. You dont need to play tennis to practice the stroke. Make sure you use the right grip and everything. Do the same for backhand. Just learn all the form. Maybe even try to learn the serve form too.
The first guy is correct. You need to practice so you'll have consistency and can develop power. While you're doing that, watch tennis matches from the pro, you can learn some tricks in there. (Or watch local tennis matches, whichever you like best.)
    Easy........ DOnt SUCK

Think long term: You have a lot of life ahead of you, and in a few years your teen problems will all seem laughable.

Go to college. Stay out of debt.
Be who you are and want to be not what others expect you to be or of you. Pretty well followed it; the few times I didn't were dead end roads and not happy memories.
    Answer to the following question: ';When do you know that you have found true love [from another person]?';

    Answer: ';When your lover defines himself/herself as a ';helpful'; person, a ';help mate';-- not merely a 'soul mate.'';

and I didn't listen. And he was right. I'm two years away from thirty, I did marry my boyfriend since early high school, and I do have kids [ three of them]. And I don't know where the years went. So I wish sometimes that I HAD lived it up a little more, and been a little crazier. but not too crazy.

My wife is due Jan 27th, any advice for soon to be father?

Everybody keeps telling me, if you think pregnancy was bad, you haven't seen anything yet, wait to the baby comes. I love my wife, she is great, I've been doing all I can to support her, I'm hoping some of the things she's been having me do will go away once the baby comes, I assume I will have more tasks to help the baby....I don't know....what should I expect? My wife is due Jan 27th, any advice for soon to be father?
Don't feel unloved if she doesnt pay as much attention to you at first than she normally does... i heard this is a problem for a lot of new daddys because they feel like their wives/girlfriends dont care about them anymore, we do care, we're just getting use to the new baby too and everything will be close to normal again soon enough, be there for her like you have been, offer to help with things washing bottles or doing a little bit of laundry for her, try to help without being asked do the dishes for her, she's going to be tired and exhausted, feeling like she needs to get everything done without any time to do it, so it might be a little relaxing to her when she goes to do the dishes and theres none in the sink. If the baby is crying get up to get him/her without being asked if you have to be asked to help with the baby she may feel like you expect her to do it all, if she seems exhausted during the day ask her if she'd like you to take care of the baby for a little bit and let her go take a warm bath or a nap, I use to love just being able to take a shower without having to worry about when the baby was going to wake up and if I was going to have to jump out or not... If it seems like theres nothing you can do, don't be afraid to say Is there anything i can do to help you... She's going to be the only one who knows what she needs or wants as far as help wise... just keep being the supportive caring guy it seems you already are and everything should be fine.My wife is due Jan 27th, any advice for soon to be father?
Just do what you're doing now. You're in the right step to being a good father. Because not many men will even get on here to ask a question like that.

    Congrats and Good Luck!!!

    Happy Holidays!!!
If you have a very understanding boss, try to get a week or 2 off when she gives birth, this will make things easier on both of you. And expect to be very busy for the first month, yes, but hopefully after that you should all be on a regular routine. Also if you have the resources don't be afraid to ask friends and family for help cooking, cleaning, running errands, or whatever you need help with.
Just be there for your wife. Her body will be going through a lot of changes after she gives birth. Take turns getting up in the middle of the night with the baby. One good way to bond with your baby is if she is breastfeeding then spend some time holding the baby with your shirt off...if she isn't breastfeeding then take turns feeding the baby. I say to do this with your shirt off because the closer the baby is to your heart the better you will bond. They say that the moment a mother holds her child their hearts beat together. Try having date nights to take the stress off of your wife. It is possible to have post pardom so try to be as understanding as possible. This could take a couple of months. Try not to pull the whole ';I go to work so I don't want to come home and have to take care of everything'; Men don't understand how hard it is to care for a child all day. It takes a toll on you physically and emotionally. There are some really good books out there for dads to be. Good Luck and Congrats!!
Just expect a lot of responsibility.
im a single mom and have done everything pretty much on my own. it really is not as bad as people make it out to be, at least in my situation. it all really depends on the baby itself and how active, fussy, hi maintenance they are. my daughter was a very easy baby that really didnt cry or fuss, we had a great sleep schedule from day one. if i did have someone there to help, i would say the biggest thing would be as supportive as possible bc her hormones are still a bit out of wack, watch out for post partem, make sure she is getting enough time away from the baby where she can just breath and be alone....good luck and congrats! welcome to the club :-)
Just be the best you can be and keep calm and support her. It will be stressful when baby comes but just remain under control even if you are freaking out on the inside. I know when something goes crazy as long as I think my hubby is handling it ok I can get through but when he breaks I break. Maybe read some books on fatherhood and essential baby basics books. That way you can show your wife you are taking this seriously and that you are as prepared as you can be. She will most likely be tired and sore after delivery so expect to do the lifting and grunt work for a few days. She will mostly just feed the baby and sleep. Try to keep up the laundry and stuff so she doesn't feel like she should be up doing something. And most important make sure to surprise her with a gift or flowers at the hospital and tell her how proud you are that she brought your child into this world. She may feel left out because up until delivery it has been mostly about her but after that it is all about baby. I think you will be great. Good luck, congrats and best wishes!!!!!
you must be so proud i typed a big long list of do's and don't's but then i lost it. one tip thow make sure your baby is protected out in the sun!!!!!!

add me if you can. i have a lot of tips so your baby can grow up perfect!!!!!
Learn how to change diapers, make bottles, take night shifts, get a cvs card %26amp; jewel's preferred card, and collect baby product coupons..you'll be a good daddy. (don't worry it's two of you, most people are single parents)

I'll be moving to San Francisco this 2nd week of July, any sort of advice?

I'll be moving to San Francisco this 2nd week of July, any sort of advice? I will be there for good.

I'm 18yrs old. What would life be like in there? How about college education? Leisure life? Work Opportunity?

I hope to have some good friends there!I'll be moving to San Francisco this 2nd week of July, any sort of advice?
I have lived near the Bay area all my life. S.F is expensive but has everything anyone could want. Yes, you do need a college education, just to be competitive career wise, but that is OK, because S.F. is a great place to get an education. When you arrive, the first thing you should do, is look into the community colleges for the fall semester. They may also be able to help you in a job search. Leisure life, has major league (Giants and the A's), NFL football (49'ers and Raiders), museums, clubs, the bay, hiking, biking, boating, etc.

You name it, we got it. Good luck.I'll be moving to San Francisco this 2nd week of July, any sort of advice?
It's expensive, but has a lot going for it. If you are competent on computers, you may be able to get started doing work via temp agencies. Although you'll see cheap rents in places like hunters point or the civic center (tenderloin, code named ';Lower nob hill';) these are areas you should probably avoid.
San Fran is a great city. Its very clean, great culture in general, but very expensive also. It has a large gay population I believe and has many beautiful parks, and lots of stuff to do. Some great schools as well, wonderful arts community.
go to the restrant just out side the golden gate bridge and the alkitras tour is awesome and go to the top of the tall hill by back street awesome go to all the parks and ride a trally and go to the great peir
i really dont know but on thats so raven they ride trolleys

Responces required immediately thanks!Advice! Not turning up for a p;lane flight! Will there be charges?
Yep.........call and cancel..........you may get something back.......Advice! Not turning up for a p;lane flight! Will there be charges?
No, there will not be any additional fees, but you won't get your money back, that you payed for the ticket either. I would recommend contacting them in advance, you never know.
No. You wont get your money back but you should be ok otherwise. Just call and tell them to cancel if you cant make it.

That way they wont have to hold up the flight to wait for you to check in.
Yes you will still have to pay for that seat.

Advice to be a dog trainer?

I have been looking into possibly going to school to be a dog trainer or anything to do with dogs I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a school that isn't $9,000 to go to, or even ways that I would be able to follow my goal of having a job that has to do with animals that I will not have to work for free in order to possibly have a payed job in the next how many years. Thank you in advanceAdvice to be a dog trainer?
If you have a local Pets Mart or Petco around inquire there. They send you to school and pay for it. you usaually have to comit to staying there for a while in exchange for them sending you.. Or volunteer at a training center and shadow the traininer. Keep in mind though not all trainers are the same.Advice to be a dog trainer?
Go volunteer with a dog shelter or rescue. Any little bit of skill you have to help the homeless dogs get homes will benefit them and you. You will develop more skills and compile advise from other volunteers. There isn't much a school can do that experience can't override.

You don't have to volunteer forever and you don't have to volunteer forty hrs a week. You can get a real job somewhere with animals to increase your animal skills. Petstore, groomers checking in pets, shelter answering phones, even at a boarding facility cleaning up. ANy experience you can get go for it. My favorite would be dogie day camp!!!

Does anyone know anything about the first 500 people there getting a free meet and greet bracelet? THANK YOU SO MUCHHH!!Hiii! So,I'm going to a Jonas Brothers concert tomorrow(08/07/08).Any advice on what time I should be there by?
I have been to eight Jonas Brothers concert, already three of the Burning Up Tour and they arrive at the arena/amphitheatre around 3pm every day. I would get there at 2:30pm! Most of the time you can see them get off the bus and walk in. For the WYLMITE tour, they gave out Rooney meet and greets to the first 100 people but they dont give any meet and greets out at the Burning Up Tour. Hiii! So,I'm going to a Jonas Brothers concert tomorrow(08/07/08).Any advice on what time I should be there by?
Theyre wont open the dorrs til about 5:30 but I'd say you should go around 4, so you have time to sing the bus, or if you go a little bit earlier you can probaly see them arrive in the tour bus, and theyll stick there head out the window and thats always fun :)

Haha, and if there doing the bracelet thing ,i can almost guarantee you that those 500 people are already there right now. Trust Me :)
Right now! You better get going before everyone gets there! Everyone should be arriving right now! You're going to miss your chance! Ahhhhhh!
Be there by like 4 or 5. That should be plenty of time to do stuff before the concert. Have fun!!!!
i would be thir as earlie as i can AND HAVE FUN

get to a doctor now!!!I have abnormal pain in one breast, it's very sore, swollen and tender. Any advice on what this can be?
Possibly a contusion? Did you get hit in the left breast lately? Did the doctor order a mammogram (probably excruciating since you are already sore)? Maybe they could do an ultrasound instead? Possibly a blocked gland?
I know breast pain during and after your cycle is common. I would go back to the doctor and tell them the symptoms have worsened.
Mastitis...you have all the symptoms of a breast infection. Return to your Doctor for re-examination or to another Dr. for a second opinion. You will need medication. Don't wait! It just gets worse and more painful! KJL

NEVER borrow and you can't get in debt.Advice for specific things that teens can do or be aware of that will help them to avoid getting into debt and?
A great idea, I think, would be to give them a reloadable credit card. I'm an adult and I use this for myself! I like the Mio card, personally. Use the locator to see if they are available in your area. They are good ';starter'; cards to see how your teen will handle credit. While these cards are convenient, they will not help you build credit, however. To build credit, use a ';secured'; credit card, which you can get at the bank. I would first start with the Mio card, again, to see how they handle it.

Wow, i am at a loss, can someone give me significant advice on how to treat my stress and worries?

I am undergoing an immense amount of stress, i am irritable, depressed, and exhausted. Everything is whipping passed me and changing. What can i do to regain my composure, i need to get back on track, get my head in the game. I am thinking about staying at my grandparents for a week. What can i do while i am there to cease my worries, rid of these head aches and save my soul from exploding. Just some simple revival tricks, what do you do when you are stressed?Wow, i am at a loss, can someone give me significant advice on how to treat my stress and worries?
Well start with the basics man, eating right? sleeping right? getting physical activity? Whenever I am sad or upset these are the first things I turn to.

As for the stress, there is only really one way to truly deal with it and that is head on. Try viewing things that worry you as challenges, instead of sitting around and thinking what makes you sad and why, try thinking about possible ways to fix them for a positive outcome. If that doesn't work, forget about them. It is absolutely 100% pointless to worry about issues which you have 0 control over.

Work on you, making yourself happy and doing what you want to do no matter what, and then everything else will seem to fall in place.

If that doesn't work get tested for depression, General anxiety, etc.

Hope this helps!Wow, i am at a loss, can someone give me significant advice on how to treat my stress and worries?
Stress: Employ the EFT version for use in public, for which you can reasonably claim that you have a headache, as you use the acupressure massage/tapping on your temples, but it may be advisable to restrict yourself to subvocalising (saying it to yourself, in your mind, not aloud). ';Even though I sometimes suffer from stress, and worry, I deeply and completely accept myself';. www.mercola.com searchbar: ';EFT';, %26amp; ';EFT therapists'; - professional is best.

Practise a daily relaxation method, such as http://www.drcoxconsulting.com/managing-鈥?/a> or http://altmedicine.about.com/cs/mindbody鈥?/a> or www.wikihow.com/Meditate and/or Tai Chi, Qi Gong, or yoga. Open an aromatherapy vial and breathe in the scent whenever you need a quick stress release. Check out http://your-mental-health.weebly.com/1.h鈥?/a> about stress, and anxiety, then pages m, and i. - they are necessarily long, comprehensive posts, and won't both fit, here. If still depressed, after employing the above for 2 weeks, see pages 3, and b.
do NOT try alcohol. That will not solve any of your problems. I recommend light to moderate exersise or yoga in the morning. Bubble baths and readingbooks or watching movies in bed, playing with an animal or going for a quiet walk some place nice and not to busy. Dont focus on worries or problems, just focus on how you can make yourself happy and relaxed.
    this might sound weird......

but if u masturbate it helps..

and watch funny movies listen to good music, bubble bath a nice cup of coffee (or tea if u dont jrink coffee, like me) umm... and if u talk to a counslor it helps ( most people think talking to a counslor is for mental people... but its not. i just go to a counslor bcuz i like to talk and its good to talk to someone once in a while)

I want to ask a question but, when I did the first thing I got was that I was spamming. I need help, I am stuck and I am at an impass with my partner. I put my question out, and the first answer was spammer ... the next was intelegent and thought out. I have removed the question ... but I am still in the same frustrated hair pulling place I was in before. I need the advice ... and I am not getting it from my friends and local collegues.... they all say ';looks good'; .... and I am completely dissatisfied ...... If it was a relationship .... I can say what I want, but if it is your work you need advice on .... well your stuck! I need some new eyes to see. If I was the type I would cry out of frustration!

I have graduated high school and i would love to be a nurse whats my next step any one have any advice ?

You will need some advanced training. How much depends on what type of nursing you want to do. If you want to be a Registered Nurse, you will most likely need a four year degree. If you want to be surgical nurse, that will take even more very specialized training. If I were you, I'd contact some local colleges and universities and see what their programs are.I have graduated high school and i would love to be a nurse whats my next step any one have any advice ?

Why is my blood pressure always low, why do GP'S accept it as okay it can be 110/70 advice please thanks.

That isn't low. In terms of medical emergencies, we don't consider blood pressure low until below 90 (top number) and no treatment is necessary unless the blood pressure falls below this. Why is my blood pressure always low, why do GP'S accept it as okay it can be 110/70 advice please thanks.
Your blood pressure reading is fine. You shouldn't be concerned about that reading at all.Why is my blood pressure always low, why do GP'S accept it as okay it can be 110/70 advice please thanks.
Your blood pressure is fine. Blood pressure generally isn't

';too low'; until you begin having problems...... i.e. lightheaded,

faint, chest pain, tachycardia etc. Unless you are having these symptoms, then rejoice .... you have an enviable blood pressure reading.
I am not real sure what you are asking, but if your pressure runs 110/70 that is not low. That is very good.
It sounds normal to me your doctor wouldnt ignore it if it was a problem. Go back and ask them about it.
hey even last week i had the same reading..... doctor advised not to get worried ... i had severe headache, giddiness and puking...... hence had a bottle of saline drip... i got alot relief...... so u dont have to worry... take care of ur health.... god bless u....
My blood pressure is low also. My doctor once explained that the pressure level of the blood and conversely the heart strength is not so important if inside acceptable limits (which are fairly wide). They are looking more for deviations from your normal state. If you have low blood pressure but it suddenly rises to above normal this would be a cause for concern rather than a reason to rejoice.
110/70 us very good BP. That is not low

I'm going into the armed services, I need to be able to do a million pullups, I NEED TRAINING ADVICE!?

im not sure what the weakest muscle is in the pull up. but if it is pull ups you have to do then its pull ups that you have to practice. dont over do it. do as many as you can (that means tell your tiered) and do 10 more. every day do this and then next week do that pluse 10 more keep adding 10 every week. this should help. eat good.

I REALLY want to become a plus size model in the UK. I really really really believe I have what it takes because all my life, since I was small I've been interested in 3 things - fashion, being photographed and expressions. My family and friends have always told me I'd be perfect for this. I just wish someone would give me a chance.

I have contacted a few leading agencies in London but they have said they can't offer representation.

However, one said that they are interested and would like me to send a full length photograph smiling.

I'm nervous as I really want this. Does anyone have any advice about what to do to stand out?

Does anyone think i could be pregnant? need some tips or advice please!?

My husband and i have had sex every night since sunday the 20 so far and i got my cycle the 14 of this month and ended the 17. I have read up on how to find out when i am ovulating and we got that part figured out but we want to be bad enough that i know it should only take one time but i want some advice on the possibility's!!!! i am a bigger woman i weigh around 260, but that doesnt always mean anything!! can anyone help?Does anyone think i could be pregnant? need some tips or advice please!?
As long as you know when you aare ovulating and you have sex it should happen. I weighed 234 when I got pregnant. My husband and I did it kind of sideways and I was actually hanging upside down a little bit off the bed and thats how I got pregnant. Sorry for the TMI. Most doctors do recommend NOT doing it everyday though because if you skip a day more sperm can be released the next day upping your chances of getting pregnant. I used an online ovulation calendar as well as paying attention to my body to know when I was ovulating.

Goodluck!Does anyone think i could be pregnant? need some tips or advice please!?
Hi:) I am excited for you!

I completely understand the excitement you have and the fact that you want it so bad, I think most of us have been there and/or want to be there again.

My best advise is to stay positive, and learn as much as you can about yourself, your body.

And, also, be mindful of the time it can take. If you are lucky, it will happen the very first time. It happens. But also what happens is that we find it may take a little longer and a little more practice to accomplish. Nonetheless, stay hopeful and God bless!

Is there any advice that you can give me to be a good busboy?

I am starting a job soon as a bus-boy and was wonder if anybody can give me advice and how to be a busboy and a good oneIs there any advice that you can give me to be a good busboy?
    1) Don't steal the server's tips!

    2) Make sure you stay on top of keeping your server's section clean...the more tables they turn, the more money they make and the more money they have to tip you out at the end of your shift.

    3) Don't be loud, messy, or annoying to the surrounding guests enjoying their meals.

    4) If you're walking by a table in the restaurant and notice somebody has put some dirty dishes on the end of their table to get rid of them go ahead and grab them even if it's not your section. Servers will notice this and request you in their sections. Then you can bus for the best server and get MORE $$$!!!

    5) This is the most important of all......DO NOT PISS OFF THE DISHWASHER! This person usually doesn't speak English, but it won't matter because you will know when they are mad!

Oh, and I definitely suggest watching the movie Waiting with Ryan Reynolds (Van Wilder).....That movie is so funny, and it will give you a clue as to what it will be like working in a restaurant!

Good luck and have fun :)Is there any advice that you can give me to be a good busboy?
Be the invisible busboy with the clean dish bin and cloth. Don't make eye contact with the customers. Work fast, quietly, and stay out of the way.
always be polite to the customers

always smile and make everyone like u
    Don't break the dishes!!!!
    Don't drop the bus tray.
don't eat the food left in the plates untill ofter you have taken it to the back, trust me on that one.
uhhhhhhh be nice? i dont know why are you asking this

I need advice on effective note taking during lectures. Any helpful systems and tips would be appreciated!?

I have heard of Cornell note taking. Is it helpful? What free websites offer effective note taking?I need advice on effective note taking during lectures. Any helpful systems and tips would be appreciated!?
The first thing I would suggest is to look up the professor's previous exams. Most colleges have past exams on the school website or on file in the library. Looking at the exams are really helpful because it will let you know what kind of information the professor will be looking for. For example, some professors are detail oriented and they want you to know all the dates and names, etc. - for these professors, you'll want to write down all the specifics and probably write down everything that the professor says during the lecture, word for word. Other professors' exams are more theory or idea - oriented. They don't care about specific dates or times, but rather want you to grasp the general idea or purpose. For these professors, you don't need to write down everything word for word, but instead write down important ideas or themes that the professor discusses in class.

In addition, do all of your reading before your class and take notes while doing the reading. Writing notes outside of class will jog your memory while in class. If you've already written down something and the professor mentions it again in class, you know it's important. Also when going over your notes or textbooks, only highlight important key words or phrases. Do not highlight everything.I need advice on effective note taking during lectures. Any helpful systems and tips would be appreciated!?
The main thing is prepare for the class and pay attention to key points within the lecture. Sit in front of the lecture hall or classroom. Ask questions if you need clarification on a point. Watch for verbal and body language of the professor or instructor clues for major points during a lecture. Write detailed notes. Include visuals if needed. Also, take advantage of the instructor's or professor's office hours if additional help is needed along with the campus' tutoring center.
listen and summarize what they say!!!

I need some ways to help motivate my school and i need to think of some rewards advice would be great?

If I am reading this correctly you need to come up with something that would happen during the school day rather than a monetary reward. Based on that: a build your own ice cream sundae day, movie with popcorn, if you wear school uniforms perhaps a day to wear your regular clothing (within guidelines), music played during a study time, depending where you live (weather concerns) an afternoon of outdoors for some fun, silly games like dodge ball. Hope this will at least get your own thought process goingI need some ways to help motivate my school and i need to think of some rewards advice would be great?
There has to be a certain reward. Put yourself in your classmates shoes and ask what reward you would like if you did something right.

Also, when you go to take your headshots/interview/etc. make sure you wear an outfit you are really comfortable in. They judge alot of you on your outfit an appearance, and you really want that to come though in your clothes.Any advice for a background actor wanna-be?

How do i get over my now ex bf, was my first and i though only love, advice much appreciated?

i tryed to get rid of him in the beginning because i didnt want to get hurt than i realized i wanted him, he came to see me because it was long distance and now he doesnt want me anymore after 8 months. i dont know if i should get rid of everything he ever gave me and delete his pictures. so how do i move on?How do i get over my now ex bf, was my first and i though only love, advice much appreciated?
That exact same thing happened to me a few years ago. And I believe that's the reason why I can give you my advice. Cause I tried a hundred things to get over him, specially because he was my first true love.

At first, it was really hard not to cry every time I saw him or remember him. But time DOES make it all better. I didn't delete anything from him. I still have every e-mail he sent me, and that wonderful and special teddy bear. And the reason why I kept all these things was because they remind me of that feeling: true love. They don't hurt, they bring happiness to my life. Today, he is a precious memory for me. Even though he stopped loving me long time before I stopped loving him... what I felt was a sad feeling and not an angry one. I don't know how you feel, but if it's not anger, then you shouldn't treat him and his stuff with anger. Sadness is fine, at least for a while before moving on. This lost is good and it may be one of the best things that will happen in your life, even if today it seems impossible, one day you'll see what I mean. Thanks to that lost love I had, I noticed how blessed I was to ever have felt something as great and pure as that. I would do it all over again even if it had to end like it did! It was worth it. It will be worth it for you too, someday. Don't lose hope, wait, pray... I wish you the best! (PS. sorry for my crappy English)How do i get over my now ex bf, was my first and i though only love, advice much appreciated?
you don't have to throw out whatever he gave you or delete every picture of him. it's just telling yourself that you're angry with him. anger helps someone to let go but it also makes the process longer and you return to the experience with bitterness over and over again. i suggest you imagine yourself letting him go and walk out the door ';finally';. Make a monologue as if you're talking to him. Tell him you're giving him up now and you'll move on. Let yourself listen to your own voice when you talk to him. finally, smile and say goodbye. letting someone go happily will help you restore your self-respect and sanity more easily.

I also suggest you repeat a statement to yourself over and over again, something like ';I am a wonderful person and I deserve only the best.'; Something positive and repeat this to yourself every time you feel alone and sad.
Just keep busy. Love yourself again. %26amp; reconnect with activites that make you happy. You will get over him if you ALLOW yourself to. You don't wanna be those girls who hold onto old relationships.

He will eventually date again, %26amp; you're gonna have to respect his new relationships.

Does a maid of honor have to be a certian age? issue below please real advice?

I choose my family member who is my niece she will be 17 1/2 and people are making feel bad about it? but i thought i was supposed to be the family member you feel closer to am i wrong? i feel closer to her then my sister is their an age limit?Does a maid of honor have to be a certian age? issue below please real advice?
Don't be silly, of course there's no age limit.

When my aunt and uncle got married, the maid of honor was my aunt's cousin who was about that age. Anyone who says it should be someone older is being stupid; there are no rules, you can choose who you like.

However, they probably wouldn't be able to be a witness.Does a maid of honor have to be a certian age? issue below please real advice?
Typically the maid of honor is your closest friend or family member. There isn't really an age limit as far as bridesmaids and maid of honors go, but typically if they are younger than 15 they would be considered junior bridesmaids or junior maid of honor.

I would say though that it is your day and you can select who you want to be in the bridal party and who you don't. If, however, your family is throwing a fit you may want to consider having two maids of honor or an honorary maid of honor. This would especially be good because the maid of honor roll is typically a pretty big one and I'm not sure if your niece could handle all the responsibility.

    Good luck and congratulations.
Seventeen is old enough to serve as maid of honor. Depending on her, she may need help to organized a bridal shower for you. Maybe your Aunt can help her on what her duties will be. She should know how to be of assistance to you when you get dressed and throughout the wedding day.

Since you are close to her, sit down with her and let her know what you are expecting her to do. And then figure out if she will need help from her mom or the other bridesmaids to carry out her tasks.
Usually the made of honor and best man are the 2 that sign the marriage licenses as witnesses. In most states they have to be 18 and over. Normally the maid of honor is the person you are closest to.. not necessarily a family member..but like a best friend or whomever you have the strongest relationship with.
I answered a similar question regarding this issue earlier. The only consideration you may want to check is if she is legally able to sign as a witness to your wedding. Different jurisdictions have differing ages.

Other than that I don't see a problem for you and wish you happiness with your new spouse.
No, that's totally fine. You are right to choose someone closest in your heart.

You would have to ask someone else over 18 to sign the document, though.
No, there isn't an age limit. Maybe they think you should pick your sister instead...forget about it and do what you want.

I am not a teacher but you should set firm boundaries from day 1 otherwise the boys will run rings around you. Some teachers share a little of their lifes experiences. It helps kids to know that teachers have experienced life.I am going to teach hs. chemisty at an all boys school mid year. Any advice on how to get control and be a ?
make them respect you from the first day. You're the teacher, employ respect. Never let them bring you down because then all the others will too.

Where can I get a pre test to be a casino dealer? Or some advice...?

I have an interview at an opening casino in less than two weeks. I have never ';dealt'; before and don't know a whole lot about it. I'm worried about the math test and want to take one before I take theirs but don't know what it will detail. And maybe just send me some information on dealing and the counts and everything like that:) Thank you for your time.Where can I get a pre test to be a casino dealer? Or some advice...?
There is alot more to dealing than knowing how to count to 21. There are alot of policies and procedures to Blackjack. You say you have never dealt before and this is an opening casino. I am going to assume that they plan on training you to be a dealer. If this is the case, the math test is pretty basic. You just need to know how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.

During your interview, just make sure you appear to be friendly and have an upbeat attitude. Casinos are looking for people who will talk to the guests and try to provide a pleasurable gaming experience. Good luck!!!

You will have to get a gaming badge in order to be a dealer. What state are you in?

I have a king Charles and he snores all the time, anyone have any advice if this is ok or needs to be checked?

no, cavaliers are snorers! they also grunt when you cuddle them or give affection.

you may want to get him checked if........he has a particularly short nose, or if this snoring has just suddenly come on.I have a king Charles and he snores all the time, anyone have any advice if this is ok or needs to be checked?
he needs to be checked out.

he could have a deformation of his nostrils, sinuses or soft palate. or an infection. if so, he'll have other breathing problems when he's running around or excited.

definitely get him checked out, there are surgeries to correct the deformations.I have a king Charles and he snores all the time, anyone have any advice if this is ok or needs to be checked?
~brachycephalic (short snout) dogs are often snorers, sniffler and sneezers. Have him checked to make sure nothing is wrong, but I have a Peke, shih-tzu and 2 shi pups and they all snore. After awhile you will get use to it.

the one thing you have to becareful of is over heating. They don't get enough airflow through their noses to cool their blood like longer snouted dogs do. I keep a fan mozt of the year on, its on the floor behind a wire box hubby made. they get the air, but can't get to close.
I have a beagle and he has snored his entire life. It should be nothing, but you should have him checked. A friend had a beagle that snored also and he had a problem in his sinus passages.
Most blunt faced dogs snore because of how they are made.

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
Most smashed faced dogs have snoring issues. Get use to it and learn to love it.
i have a dalmation and a springer spaniel and they both snore really loudly and they are both fine
it is okay.. both of my dogs do it and very loudly and they are healthy as a horse.... dont worry, he's fine... just get you some ear plugs....lol
I have a wife who is just the same !!!

Troubled If any females that would be able to shed some advice would be fantastic and tips from men would be?

Great to. I have been dating my wonderful G/F for 8 months now and everything was great, but within the first 3 months she had a serious sexual conversation with a guy she barely knows. I obviously found out and after reading what was contained in there was things like what she would do to him etc etc and saying he was such a lovely guy. I was absolutely sick to my stomach very hurt and extremely angry. When i approached her with this she got extremely upset and apologized over and over again and i did forgive her but told her that it extremely hurt me. Long story short she said she will never do those things again but im very unsure i know she will never physically cheat on me but mentally for me is just as bad. She left facebook up on the pc without logging out and sure enough there was a conversation with another fellow not as sexual but still have enough that i feel bad and upset. She is my first longtime/serious girlfriend is this behavior normal in women i would never dream of acting like this as it is just unthinkable to have these conversations with anyone as im in a relationship. Am i being to sensitive is there a way to approach the situation I'm 24 she is 21Troubled If any females that would be able to shed some advice would be fantastic and tips from men would be?
No, this is not normal behaviour for men or women that are in a relationship...she obviously either has a serious mental issue, or she doesn't feel the same way about you as you do her.

8 months is not a long time, lol, maybe at your age but it's not really. If she's done this twice to you in that length of time, she isn't going to stop. If she's cheating on you mentally don't kid yourself, it will turn into physically when she meets the right one.

Don't let her continue to hurt you. You don't sound like the sharing type, so dump her and find someone who wants to be with you, and only you. You're young, and it's not fair to you to waste your time on someone like her.Troubled If any females that would be able to shed some advice would be fantastic and tips from men would be?
Dump her. She's probably been doing it the whole time and isn't going to stop..Sorry but you deserve better.
Wow, yeah that's pretty messed up, but it does happen. I never do that kind of thing but I found out that my ex husband was doing the same thing with a girl on myspace while we were married??? I think it is absolutely ridiculous, it makes him look stupid. Anyways, if she is doing this, it is up to you how to deal with it. It hurts you so why stick around and continue to let her do this to you? She will continue to do it as long as she can get away with it, it's an obsession and also a way to make her feel better about herself. She won't give it up.

Could I be pregnant, i need some advice?

The last time I had my period was September 30th to October 3rd, so from the internet calculator I would be 6w3d. And Im 16 days late. My back is hurting, some small belly pains, headaches, very moody, im tired all the time, i get dizzy easy, some bloating, no morning sickness yet, but nausea after certain smells, in the morning, and after eating a little bit. I took a pregnancy test after 3 days late, and 11 days late but both were negative. This would be my first time being pregnant, and im just curious.Could I be pregnant, i need some advice?
see your gyn for STD testing %26amp; an exam. use condoms.Could I be pregnant, i need some advice?
you do have clear symptoms of pregnancy and your period is late..but both pregnancy tests were negative. i would suggest taking another pregnancy test. for best results do it with the first pee of the morning. good luck!
Yes you could be good luck.
I would see a doctor not use yahooanswers for something like this.
it sounds very probable. i would get a test done at your obgyn.
You could be pregnant, depending on what brand test you used it may not have picked up that you are pregnant based on how high your hormone levels are. I'd suggest seeing your doctor for a blood test, and just to get checked out. If you aren't normally late and have a regular cycle it could be something else causing you to be late, or just the fact that you are stressing over possibly being pregnant.
    GO TO THE DOCTOR!!

There are cases where the pregnancy tests bought at the store are not sensitive enough, giving a false negative, and/or there could be something seriously wrong.

Since you did not mention your age, could it be the change?
u could be but u look to young to be having sex
The symptoms all sound like you are, but it's odd a pregnancy test isn't showing that you are. I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks by a test, go see a doctor
you might be pregnant, i am actually having the same symptoms except i did have morning sickness, but another reason u might be late is stressing out or thinking too much about this situation sometimes when people think to much about a pregnancy or being pregnant they develop pregnancy symptoms so i hope i helped hun
Hmm reading the first bit I was thinking, yep she's pregnant. But if you took a decent test, especially 11 days after your missed period, and it came out negative I dought you are, as by then you would have had plenty of hcg levels in your system. If I was in your shoes I'd take one more test then go to the doctors. Good look.
Sounds like you are pregnant. It is possible to have low hCG levels (pregnancy hormone) that you will test negative. Go to your doctor tell them what is happening and ask them for a blood test to determine pregnancy.
It sounds like you have the symptoms of an early pregnancy but today's pregnancy test are pretty accurate, However it can be wrong. I would suggest you take a trip to your OBGYN,Either you are pregnant or something else is going on. Other illnesses may present with the same symptoms as a pregnancy.Either way you will need to see your doctor. Good Luck!
you need to go to the doctor and get a blood test ASAP
you could my sister had the same problem and your probably getting a negative test because it might be to early to tell so its best to go to the docters and get a blood test so good luck love
Yes you could be pregnant for sure. Your symptoms all sound like pregnancy symptoms. My advice would to take a test first thing in the morning and make sure you are doing it correctly. First morning urine is way more accurate than from the middle of the day. If it is still negative, wait and see if you get your period next month. If you don't you should probably go into the doctor and get a blood test. If the blood test is negative it was probably just stress causing your periods to be irregular. Good luck

I am 38 and about to be single. It has been a while since l have been on a date. Got any advice?

Like I said it has been almost 15 years and I am afraid I might be a little out of practice.I am 38 and about to be single. It has been a while since l have been on a date. Got any advice?
take your time day by day dont settle for second best and remember that there is always someone out there who will love you good luckI am 38 and about to be single. It has been a while since l have been on a date. Got any advice?
Don't rush into it, take your time and find the right guy. Don't think you have to hit the ground running. If and only if you should want to date, but don鈥檛 feel you have to鈥?br>

Bugjjo said to wait at least 3 dates, wait until you are asked, or if it's far enough along you can ask him if he wants to know.

If you enter a relationship with baggage you will leave with it very rapidly. No one wants to hear it, or be compared to...it鈥檚 history.

    Dating hasn't changed...
First rule!! never talk about your X on a date. At least wait 3 dates before mentioning it. Focus on today and what your interests are and sound interested and complement!!!

    YOU WILL ROCK!!! Good luck!
My sister has been in the same situation and trying to find someone around this area. At this age, everyone is married and the pickin's is slim! She went to match.com, I believe it was, and has met a very nice fellow who lives about 45 minutes away. Of course, you need to be very careful, but it's a useful tool. You can get to know them via internet at first which is easier than a blind date, for sure! I'm sure you'll fall right back into it!
Take your time. It is a BIG mistake to start dating right after divorce. You are not in good emotional shape for that. Take time to nurture your friendships and yourself. Get to know yourself again and try to be independent for a while. You will grow into a person who is ready to take on the world of dating with confidence. If you rush, you will probably just make another mistake! Or you might just cling to who ever you meet so you wont feel lonely--not good!

I will be a freshman in college next year and i am planning on buying a laptop but i need advice.?

How much memory do i need? (i also download lots of music)

I want a dell...but which one is best?

What programs do i need for my college classes?I will be a freshman in college next year and i am planning on buying a laptop but i need advice.?
Which Operating System do you wish to have? Windows XP or Windows Vista? Since the majority of PCs now come with Windows Vista preinstalled, you have very little chances of finding a laptop running Windows XP. Although, Microsoft has just extended the deadline of Windows XP to 2010 which means your chances are slightly higher. But keep note, Microsoft only extended the deadline for the sake of the low-price PCs and to exclude Linux out of the competition.

Enough with that, let's now look at the specs of your preferred laptop. In college, it is recommended that you have a laptop with Windows XP because most of the software used in your preferred college could run on Windows XP - Windows Vista lacks support.

You should look for a laptop with an Intel Pentium M processor or better. I'd prefer the Core2 Duo Centrino if you're into multi-tasking plus it comes very handy when you're runnng more than 2 applications. The minimum memory you should have is 512MB or more but if you have Windows XP, it's better that you have 1GB if you're running heavy programs such as MatLab, AutoCAD, Physics Simulator, etc.

Asides from the 2 important features (processor and RAM) I've mentioned above, I suggest that you purchase a laptop with a ';Vista Capable'; sticker which states that the laptop is high end and comes with the latest hardware. Although, it doesn't necessarily mean that your purchase a laptop with Windows Vista preinstalled at least if you want to because like I said, a lot of people have experienced problems with Vista and decided to stick to Windows XP.

You said you wanted to get a Dell laptop? Dell laptops are good but it depends on your taste; there are models for all-around gaming; models for office or student use; and even models for both. In my opinion Dell laptops are the best choice because the brand is preferred by many colleges in the US and abroad - it is the most preferred brand for educational computing.

About your programs to use in class, I don't think I can help you there. It depends entirely what course you're going to take. But for the good part, you could at least borrow the software and install it on your laptop. Just wait for your orientation on your first day in college and try to soak in the information pertaining to what you need and what is important. At the most, the school should be able to provide you with software to install but you should first seek permission.

That's just about it... Get a Dell laptop with a Core2 Duo Centrino processor and at least 1GB RAM. With these configurations, you should be able to download a lot of music and run multiple applications without lag or data loss. The preferred OS should be Windows XP Professional (Home Edition would do) but if you'd like to give Windows Vista a go then why not?I will be a freshman in college next year and i am planning on buying a laptop but i need advice.?
If your just using it for school

These will be perfect for you

    http://www.dell.com/content/products/fea鈥?/a>

Inspirons they are offering free upgrades to 3gigs of ddr2 ram and a 320gb HDD which is perfect for what your doing.

You will also be able to pick a color
Get youself a laptip with 2gb ram and at least 160gb hard drive. You can download free software like Open Office to take care of all the programs you will need for college. Dont pay of Microsoft anything. Also make sure you have a DVD R/W / CD R/W.

Maybe post the question at http://www.desktopsupport.tv/phpBB3/inde鈥?/a> or go here to find computer help info - http://www.desktopsupport.tv/dttv.php
Go to http://www.dell.com for all the available options and speciafications for laptops. My partner and I have been using Dell for several years and are very pleased with their computers. I have a desktop. My partner has a laptop. You can order a laptop from Dell online, but I suggest that you work out your order by calling Dell's 800 number and speaking with a real live person. This could save misundertandings and the Dell rep can answer just about all the questions you might have.

You'll need the usual stuff so you can access the Internet and you'll need a word processing program. I suggest either WordPerfect or MSWord. Both are very reliable.
I do not recommend Dell because I have had 5 years of bad experience with their computers.

HP laptops are pretty good. For memory, I recommend a 1GB-2 GB, and for Hard Drive, since you listen to A LOT of music, and will probably need programs for your classes (you didn't list them, so I don't know what programs you'll need for your college classes except Microsoft Office), then I recommend at LEAST a 200 GB HD.

I just bought an HP computer, and it runs very well. It was only 1300, and is has 2.5 Ghz, 2 GB of RAM, and has Windows Vista Ultimate. Make sure to get the normal version, not 64/32 bit for Vista though.

I also recommend Apple. I have an Apple Macbook, and it's pretty good. It's lightweight, easy to use, and it also has a long battery life. However, I recommend getting the Black edition (1499) because it has a large HD, large RAM, and is fast, 2.4 Ghz.

DO NOT GET THE APPLE MACBOOK AIR. If you do, then you'll also have to buy a USB optical drive since the macbook air does not have an optical drive.

The macbook pros are good, but I don't think you need it, unless you do some programming, videos, multimedia, etc.

Lenovo is also good, but is too pricy.

My top two picks are Apple and HP

Yes. now in days speaking two different language can help anybody in life. maybe even three. My family speak two language.

It will help them when they get older for a job.

So last night I started bleeding a little, it was light pink and its kinda like a period now but not heavy and non of the period symptoms

And I took a test last night and it was negative but I swear to god I am pregnant and I have all the symptoms, help?

Anyone had this happen?Ok, I need some good advice, 6 weeks pregnant or would be?
If you got a negative chances are it's a negative. =(

Period symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are very similar. Especially if you want it bad enough your brain can actually make you think yhou r are pregnant...my friends mom wanted it so bad she started lactating! Get a blood test to make sure, but you might have to wait till next month! =(Ok, I need some good advice, 6 weeks pregnant or would be?
There is a possibility that you got a false negative...there's also the possibility that you are not pregnant.

PMS and early pregnancy symptoms are pretty similar-if you are having neither-you probably aren't pregnant-just a little late on your monthly-go to your OB they can do a blood test that would definitely let you know for sure

If she is a bit of a girly girl, and into pink things, try a dressing up table with little bits of make-up so she can look like mum maybe even some dressing up clothes, like a princess, if she likes Disney, then a Disney princess. But there are other things like a baby Annabel or a baby born, because these come with accessories which can be use full for other special occasions, you can get clothes, cot's changing tables, the lot.
why dint you take her somewhere. To a show. or the zoo. I know they are having a Disney on ice tour with the pricness. Try something like that. Or have a dress up party with her and her friends. Better then things since it seems like she already has allot!
Get her some savings bonds or index funds. You could also make a donation to a children's oriented charity in her name.

You could always redecorate her room or get her something with Dora all over it. I hear the Disney Princesses are hot ticket items too.
';Books! Choose a favorite animal or favorite TV character .She will love listening to the stories, not to mention the precious time you share with her reading and teaching her as well. She will remember this special ';story time '; for the rest of her life. It also shows her how much you love her -which is something money can not buy. :}.
don't spoil her at 5! and she's just young, give her lots of toys.kids like toys lol,why don't you take her out and buy her ice cream etc? i mean once she gets older the whole buying her lots of clothes, digital cameras etc is fine but i personally think 5 is to young but she's your daughter :)
get her a bike if she has one get her a barbe car! if she has one of those a puppy and if she has one of those fill a tisue box wit 1 dollar bills bet u doesn't have one of those bad boys but make sure she doesn't sneeze on it
I worked at daycare for a while and parents would through a huge party and have a moon-bounce usually 50.00 for like and hour. And maybe see about a clown. Have a huge party. Let the kids take some craft items and make memorable picture frames for pictures from their party. Then after the fun you could give her a new movie that is out and let some kids stay over for a sleepover to watch the movie that you provided. maybe you could give her the camcorder (with supervision) and let her and her friends make a movie all of their own. You have countless things you could do. Don't stress out make it unforgettable for yourself.

You can try making it wet and then pulling it taught and straight with a brush and running a HOT blowdryer over it. Just make sure you do that in layers thin enough that the hair dries quickly and the heat permeates to the underside. This is what I do
noooo! exeppt hair drier. but i think ur going to do it without hear. soo tahts not gonna really work out for u

I want to be a social worker and i need some advice?

ok i want to be a social worker is it good ot get my AA at a 2 year college then trnasfer to a 4 year university to get my bachelors degree in social work?I want to be a social worker and i need some advice?
I had 1 1/2 years of Community College classes prior to transferring to a four year for my Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW). It worked well for me and was less expensive. As the previous poster stated, you just need to figure out which four year college you want to attend and make sure that the classes you are taking will help you with your degree.I want to be a social worker and i need some advice?
If your question is, is that a good pathway to the career, sure! Many people start at Community colleges and then transfer. Just make sure that whatever university you want to transfer to will accept your AA degree. Evey University has it's own requirements as to what they will accept!

Does anyone have any advice for a soon-to-be teen parent?
