I've noticed over the years that rabbits have 2 quirky habits... peeing on pillows and chewing on wire cords.
Not all rabbits can be potty trained. Either they will do it or they won't. An easy way to get started is with their cage. They need a nice large cage. They don't like to pee where they sleep or eat, so they need a bed and food/water dish on one side of the cage and a litter box on the other side. If they use the litter pan, you are half way there. Then you can let your rabbit out for a short period of time near the cage for playtime. If he pees outside of the cage, put him back quickly in the litter pan. You can do this for longer and longer periods until he only uses the litter pan.
My rabbit lived all through the house with 2 dogs. He only went to his cage to eat %26amp; pee. I left it open all the time.
Hope this helps! My house rabbit has managed to litter train himself to use my bed as his toilet. Any advice would be great!?
where he goes to the bathroom at stick the litter box or if you see him going stick him in the litter box to teach him that is where he is suppose to go
